surgeries since Sept 2001!
In 2008 the Multnomah County Animal Shelter had to euthanize 3,000 cats. Washington County statistics are just as grim: 2,700 cats--65% of the cats that were taken in!
POPPA, Inc. makes it possible for pet caregivers throughout Oregon to obtain free and/or low-cost spay/neuter operations by directing those on public assistance to resources in their area, and/or funding the surgery outright, when necessary, by utilizing a local veterinarian who coorperates with POPPA, Inc.
